WOW.
big thanks.
this was really magical.
special moments: riding in the car, looking out the window, having daydreams, imaginings, ghosts in my mind, gazing at the landscape and seeing the ghosts before me... inserted in the landscape the way ones fantasies and daydreams do manifest themselves in your everyday environment; but, then, rather than staying alone in my mind with those thoughts and seeming imaginings, having a casual passer-by, a kid on a skateboard turn and also react to the two white ghosted apparations in the street with walkers. his surprise also mine when i realize someone else, everyone else is now together sharing this seemingly fantastic and typically private experience of dreams and apparations in one's landscape. The unsuspecting viewer taking notice makes this moment no longer private. this is very powerful, to transcend the barrier of fantasy and dreamland there and having everyone living that together at once, witnessing together and being in that dream reality.

wow, shannonagans. thanks so much for these thoughts. yes, there is something uniquely uncanny about the way that private fantasies are happening collectively, and the way that apparitions and mirages are being seen by passersby, too. things are surreal, but they are also really unfolding in real time and space; there is evidence. i haven't really thought about it this way before--thank you so much for your spectatorship.
